This three bedroom, three bathroom top-level penthouse sits directly on Kim Sha Beach and is minutes away from Simpson Bay Beach, Mullet Bay and the infamous Sunset Beach Bar. The spacious living and dining area is tastefully furnished with a Caribbean flair and opens onto the seaside terrace area with private pool. A convenient and open kitchen was made for socializing and features modern appliances. Enjoy breakfast on the seaside patio while taking in the view of the blue waters and tropical palm trees as there are several outdoor spaces from which you can choose from. The penthouse features three individually decorated bedroom suites, each with en suite bathrooms. Two bedrooms offer a king size bed and the third bedroom offers two queen beds and will comfortably sleep up to eight guests. Children are welcome here, making it an ideal location for families. All bedrooms offer air conditioning, ceiling fan, and ample storage space.

Hidden Treasure In Simpsons Bay
We were wowed from the moment we walked through the front door of Sol y Mar. EVERYTHING was so comfortable and so tastefully decorated. The beds were a delight to sleep in with lovely linens and everything in the kitchen was great quality (the only thing missing was a balloon whisk - but that's hardly vital!) The outside space was excellent and everything was very well tended and maintained with bi-weekly visits from the housekeeper Cecile and also the outdoor maintenance and pool staff. Easy access to the lovely Kim Sha beach was a real bonus and having the Greenhouse restaurant and Buccaneer Beach Bar so close was great. There's some aircraft noise as the small private planes often fly right over the property, but the bothersome noise is from Roxxy's and other night clubs. The unit is well sound-proofed, but we were still aware of party activity on weekends into the wee hours. This may have been heightened due to the Heineken regatta and then the SXM Festival. It did not cause us to downgrade our rating however, as it didn't come as a total surprise.
