Villa Campera is a glorious five-bedroom pool villa and cottage, perched on a hillside with 360-degree views from golden sunrise to sunset. Relax in typical Tuscan days amidst undulating arable beauty, the horizon punctuated by cypress trees rocketing into the blue sky. Dip into the uber-stylish pool, dine al fresco in the shade of a pergola.
Villa Campera is a Tuscan country house, originally built-in 1600, and recently completely refurbished. Interiors are utterly sympatico with the country surroundings but have a modern aesthetic, light and cool with floor to ceiling windows, plastered walls, smooth resin floors. Natural hues give you a feeling of peace and a close relation to nature. Villa Campera is composed of the main building and a two-bedroom cottage for ten guests and three children.
Set in 30 private hectares, with endless views over the horizon of typical Tuscany countryside. Stroll across the lawn to a 16 x 5 metre pool, with graduated shallows and a diving deck. There is excellent Wi-Fi by the pool and a shaded pergola for lazy afternoons and lunches.

Just 5 minutes away is the prestigious Castelfalfi 18 hole golf course. Nearby are vineyards and olive oil groves for tastings, and little trattorias for local food.
There are a few bars and restaurants nearby in the village of Ghizzano only 2 KM from the villa, and also at the medieval hilltown of Castelfalfi.
IN CASTELFALFI There is a bar and pizzeria which is pleasant for a quick local coffee. The Castelfalfi Restaurant situated inside the castel has one Michelin star and serves high level Tuscan cuisine. Excellent for an aperitivo and a beautiful spot for an Italian breakfast on the terrace.
It is also recommended to check out the three small restaurants around the countryside offering typical comfort food in an easy going atmosphere.
Casa Masi serves very good pasta and meat dishes.

ACTIVITIES AND EXCURSIONS
Seasonal Truffle Hunting October and November brings autumn riches, it is the season for Tuscan truffle hunts. Our expert reveals this edible treasure, in a fascinating expedition. A hunter and his hounds will take you through the woods, a ten minute walk from Villa Campera, to seek out this edible treasure. The truffle dogs are keen scenters, highly trained to unearth the precious fungus and gently hand it over in return for a treat. Your hunting guide will show where to search beneath hazelnut, beech, birch, pine and oak trees. You will learn how to select the finest specimens and savour the truffles ephemeral perfume of earth and musk that drives pigs wild! At the end of the day, hopefully with a basket of your quarry, you return to a specially prepared dinner, each dish based around truffles.

The 27 hole Castelfalfi Golf Club is the largest golf course in Tuscany in a superb setting.
