Tucked behind palm trees on an oceanfront lot, Villa Oceanis is a perfect romantic hideaway or family vacation spot in Guanacaste. Enjoy the sound of the waves from the villa's pool and outdoor living area or simply cross the lawn to the ocean. Though the two-bedroom house is secluded and private, it’s also just 80 minutes from the Liberia airport.

Start each day with coffee at the outdoor dining area on the sun-dappled deck facing the ocean, then adjourn to the deck's lounge area or the pool, which has a jetted seating area. The ocean lies down a flight of steps from the lawn, and you’ll find snorkeling equipment at the villa. While away the afternoon in the hammocks or daybed, rinse off in the outdoor shower and prep dinner on the gas grill. Satellite television and Wi-Fi ensure you’ll stay entertained in the evenings, and air-conditioned bedrooms ensure you’ll stay comfortable.

The villa is cozy yet beachy, with light filtering through the palm trees onto wood floors and white and gray paneled walls. Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors open to the oceanfront deck on one side and the lush garden on the other. The open-plan living room, dining room and kitchen has a wall of built-in wood cabinets, a plush gray sectional and a round dining table. Accents like turquoise throw cushions and a blue backsplash bring the colors of the ocean inside.


Each of the villa's two bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom with shower, air conditioning and a ceiling fan. One bedroom has a queen bed, and the other has a full bed and twin bunk bed. Like the common areas, the bedrooms are breezy and welcoming, with whitewashed beamed ceilings, rustic paneled walls, and colorful modern artwork.

Villa Oceanis is a 200-meter walk from Playa Blanca. By car, it's 5 minutes to a grocery store and Playa Negra, 10 minutes to a church, 30 minutes to the Pinilla Golf Course, 40 minutes to a tennis court and the town of Tamarindo and 45 minutes to the town of Santa Cruz. The Liberia airport is an 85-minute drive away.
