Golf Villa 8 sits within Golf Villa I Phase at Casa de Campo Resort — the community that puts guests at the epicentre of the resort's golf offering. Teeth of the Dog and The Links are both 0.3 miles away on foot, and the Hotel, Spa, and 19th Hole Bar are within the same walking distance. Teeth of the Dog, ranked the #1 golf course in the Caribbean by the World Golf Awards, defines this address: from Golf Villa I Phase, there is no golf cart required, no transfers to arrange, no time lost between breakfast and the first tee. Golf Villa 8 is a multi-level villa connected by a wide dark mahogany staircase with slatted wood banisters. The living room sits on the second level — white upholstered sofas with dark wood frames and teal and blue cushions arranged around a coffee table, a dark mahogany hutch cabinet against one wall, and a grid of five framed artworks above it. The open-plan kitchen and dining area sit alongside, with a round dark mahogany dining table seating six, white cabinetry, block countertop, and a stainless steel refrigerator. Glass sliding doors from the dining area open directly onto the upper terrace. The primary bedroom occupies the third level — a generous room with a pitched white ceiling and exposed beams, a large bed with a dark wood headboard, white bedding, a dresser with TV, a small sitting area, and a window looking onto the golf curse and the Caribbean Sea. On the ground floor, two further bedrooms each have their own character. One has a botanical-patterned in olive and green tones cushions with white textured walls, a white armchair and a bedside lamp. The third bedroom has two beds with dark wood headboards and teal and green striped pillows, and its glass doors open directly onto the terrace with the sea and golf view. Bathrooms finished in white tile, with a round wood-framed mirror, floating vanity, and glass shower. The upper terrace is the defining feature of Golf Villa 8. Furnished with teak outdoor sofas, armchairs, and a coffee table, it faces directly over the green Teeth of the Dog fairway toward the Caribbean Sea on the horizon — the golf course and the sea in a single view. The outside terrace is accessed from the dining room via glass sliding doors, a bedroom on the ground floor also opens onto a separe covered outside terrace. The villa's exterior garden has mature tropical trees and a green lawn, with the Caribbean Sea visible from outside the building.

Golf Courses within Casa de Campo In 1969, Pete Dye, with the aid of 300 local labourers and his partner and wife Alice worked for two years to create this masterpiece. The Teeth of the Dog features seven water holes overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Teeth of the Dog name comes from the distinctive sharp points of the coral formations along the shoreline. The course has been Dye's personal favourite over the years. Ranked as the number one course in the Caribbean and number 39 in the top 100 courses, worldwide, in Golf Magazine (2017). Dye Fore is Pete Dye's newest creation at Casa de Campo Resort. The course features nine cliff-side holes, 7,800 yards from the black tees. The course is situated on a 500 foot cliff above the Chavon River, where Apocalypse Now was filmed. The Links is a Pete Dye golf course layout with a spectacular view of the Caribbean Sea and the Casa de Campo complex and villas. The course design is reminiscent of traditional British and Scottish courses where the greens are small and high. Activities and Facilities at Casa de Campo The private Minitas Beach is conveniently located right in the middle of it all, so you never have to go far for a little sun and sand.
