Sea Orchard Retreat offers individuals, couples, families, and small groups the opportunity to combine a relaxing Caribbean vacation with opportunities for water sports, excursions, personal services as well as private vendors for massage, yoga, and even music or dance! We are a gated boutique oceanfront collection of finely decorated cottages on the quiet northern coast of Grand Cayman only 10 to 15 minutes from the Seven-Mile Beach water sports, restaurants, golf courses, spa, and leisure activities. The shopping of George Town and Camana Bay is also only a short drive away. Sea Orchard Retreat offers four private two-bedroom, two-bathroom cottages, a large pool with a heated spa, gym, studio, cabanas, and hammocks. Our managers offer you an airport greeting and transportation and can also help arrange a rental car should you desire. Papagallo Restaurant is within walking distance, and the new Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa is only a ten-minute drive. We maintain a complete list of preferred vendors for many activities, excursions, and services. Sea Orchard is also a popular venue for small conferences, counseling groups, spiritual retreats, yoga retreats, etc. We try to support our guests' needs! Beach Notes Sea Orchard Retreat is a gated oceanfront boutique resort with four well-decorated two-and-a-half baths villas surrounding an oceanfront pool and heated spa. The natural beach here is sandy, however the shoreline can often be pebbly and rocky as one enters the water to snorkel. Our guests will use our kayaks to access the shallow snorkeling reef and coral heads. Sea Orchard Retreat is less than 10 minutes from the barefoot swimming on Seven Mile Beach as well as all the restaurants, resorts and watersports offered. General Grand Cayman Beach Notes All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically “public” since the Queen owns up to the high watermark and the shoreline quality behind your property may vary seasonally. Be advised that the beach or water entry behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website because of the weather. The next-door beach is also always available for your use. Ocean Debris and Sargassum Seaweed Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally. Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency in recent years. Although sargassum is an unsightly nuisance, it is largely seasonal in summer. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked prior to your arrival. We try our best to work around mother nature.
