Feel yourself relax completely in this villa’s open-plan living space, which takes its design cues from the laid-back outdoor beauty of Melbourne Beach. Hues of sea and sand brighten the space, where you can lounge on the wraparound sofa and connect with your guests. Afterward, feast together in the elegant dining area adorned with contemporary art and stylish lighting fixtures. Get inspired to cook (or pop open some gourmet takeout—we get it!) in the immaculate chef’s kitchen, decked out in sleek black-and-white cabinetry and trim. All the kitchen gear and utensils are here for you, along with shiny new stainless steel appliances. The kitchen island is a perfect place to linger for breakfast or cocktail-hour snacks! Step out the sliding door and take a refreshing dip, day or night, in your sparkling private pool. Get some vitamin D as you catch some rays on a poolside recliner. Or duck into the shade of your covered patio for an al fresco meal with your gang. We don’t call this villa a “retreat” for nothing—the six bedrooms are uber-relaxing and a perfect place to unwind and catch up on your zzz’s. A sea and sand-coloured palette and the minimalist-yet-artistic décor create a delicious sense of calm. For a total treat, you can claim the pirate-themed bedroom and sleep in a fanciful wooden ship. Kids adore this imaginative room—but hey, why should they have all the fun? Good times are on tap with three fabulous rooms built for next-level entertainment. First up is the karaoke room, an inviting den equipped with a mini stage, sound system, and comfy seating. After belting out your favourite tunes, choose a favourite flick that you can screen in your very own movie theatre (the space-themed décor and plush recliners make it even more exciting). Finally, a recreation loft beckons with billiards and shuffleboard. Kindly note: Harbor Island is a brand new community with many homes that are still being built.
