Hacienda Chekul is our extraordinary new beach-front villa inside the Biosphere Reserve of Sian Ka’an, just a few minutes away from the stylish restaurants of Tulum. Its Caribbean beach couldn’t be more blissful with its fresh breeze, cool white sand and picture-perfect coconut palms leaning towards the sea. The villa is now offered with very attentive and personalized service by Nalum Private Retreats, the same managers who have set a new level of high-end hospitality standards in the area with Casa Nalum and Casa Ikal. The rates include full staff, airport transfers, all meals, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Hacienda Chekul was designed by award-winning and renowned architect Salvador Reyes Rios, whose accomplished style reflects the best architectural heritage of this region while providing a blissful vacation home with all the comforts of contemporary living. The hacienda sits nestled on a 6-acre jungle estate with 328 feet of pristine beachfront situated just off its spacious, arched terraces, and is also bordered by the fishing paradise of the Campechen Lagoon. The house has a big living/dining area and features opportunities from all directions to contemplate and enjoy the lush vegetation, the myriads of tropical birds, and the spectacular turquoise colours of the sea, all with maximum exclusivity and privacy. It has a fully fitted (equipped) kitchen, four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms (four ensuites) and plenty of outside terraces. • Maximum 8 guests • No pets or smoking • Strictly quiet hours in the community after 10pm (no loud music allowed) • Please note, due to Sian Ka’an being a protected reserve, it is not permitted to bring external ATVs, water sports equipment such as kiteboards, or audio equipment. It is also forbidden to fish, in order to protect the endangered sea life. Additionally, pets are not allowed. • It is also important to note that roads in Sian Ka’an are unpaved and therefore distances and times may vary depending on the season and road quality/condition. • Please be aware that, due to warming weather and fluctuating ocean currents, the Riviera Maya may experience the presence of naturally occurring seaweed during the hotter months of the year.
